Why Homemade is Better
Earlier, I used to rely on powdered packets to prepare curried sausages, but making it from scratch is a game-changer. The thing about cooking a recipe from scratch is that you know exactly what’s in your meal! So you get to avoid all the additives that let’s face it most the time you don’t even know how to pronounce.
Though I still use packets for certain things. My goal is to learn how to make things from scratch to provide the best options for my kids. Rising cost of living and the complex list of ingredients on food labels make homemade recipes a better choice.
A Recipe That Ticks All the Boxes
This curried sausage recipe is affordable and quick to prepare and it’s also loved by all. The sausages can be cooked separately so if someone isn’t keen on curry can have plain sausages while the rest can enjoy a flavourful curry. It’s a meal that requires minimal variations, saving you the hassle of cooking entirely different dishes to please everyone. Plus, a little tip from my kitchen to yours. – Hide the sausages while you’re cooking, as my family tends eat them when I’m not looking!
